1.Applicants of the scholarships MUST have hydrocephalus.
2.Applicants must be 17 or older.
3.Scholarship funds must be used for an educational purpose, including, but not limited to, a four-year or junior college, a high school post-graduate year to prepare for college, technical or trade school, an accredited employment-training program, or a post-graduate program.
4.The funds may be used for tuition, books, housing, or an expense directly related to the educational experience.
5.Completed Scholarship Applications and Recommendation Forms must be submitted no later than April 1, 2013.
6.The scholarship recipients will be announced in June 2013 and awarded in July 2013.
7.The Scholarship Committee of the Hydrocephalus Association has the sole authority of awarding the scholarships.
8.The amount of each scholarship is $1,000.
9.No financial qualifications will be used in determining the scholarship recipients.
10.The scholarships are non-renewable. Applicants may reapply the following year if he or she is not awarded a scholarship. Previous recipients are not eligible to re-apply.
